Lloyd’s, the world’s largest insurance and reinsurance market, is to highlight its strong commitment to Europe at AMRAE 2020, France’s largest gathering of risk management professionals.
Lloyd’s subsidiary, Lloyd’s Europe, started trading in November 2018, so that customers and brokers across the European Economic Area can continue to access Lloyd’s specialist risk expertise, products and services, including claims payments, post Brexit.
The Lloyd’s Europe team, headed by Sonja Rottiers, will be attending AMRAE 2020 to highlight the many benefits of working with Lloyd’s Europe.
Supported by a team of 100 multi-lingual experts based in Brussels and nine other European markets, and with a recent increase in capital to €300m, Lloyd’s Europe is well placed to develop its EEA operations and support its 2020 business plan.
Through Lloyd’s Europe, customers can continue to access European markets and distribution channels, as well as Lloyd’s full range of specialist risk products and services.
At AMRAE 2020, Lloyd’s will also be showcasing the Future at Lloyd’s, its strategy to build the most advanced insurance marketplace in the world. The strategy, set out in a blueprint published last October, will digitise the market, providing better risk solutions, simpler and more cost-effective access, and a diverse and inclusive culture.
Sonja Rottiers, Lloyd’s Europe CEO, said:
“We’re excited to be at AMRAE to showcase our commitment to the European market through Lloyd’s Europe. Our European presence supported by the Future at Lloyd’s strategy, will continue to enhance our proposition to our customers as they seek protection in today’s rapidly changing risk landscape.”
